Girl Scout Program

Rev up for an action-packed opportunity with the NASCAR Hall of Fame featuring a series of virtual badge programs designed for each level of scouting.

Program Highlights

Daisy, Brownie and Junior Scouts will earn the Automotive Engineering program badges. Scouts can participate in a 60-minute workshop and complete three badges: Automotive Design, Automotive Engineering and Automotive Manufacturing. During the sessions, the scouts participate in a series of hands-on lessons that include designing a car, building a model, creating an assembly line, and engineering a balloon race car. Junior Scouts will additionally discover the science behind both cars and race cars.

Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Scouts have two program options that will earn them a series of badges based on their level. The two programs are 90-minutes in duration with pre- and post workshop activities to be completed by the scout. The STEM Careers Program examines some of the many different STEM careers in NASCAR – including some of the more “unknown” jobs like a chemist or nutritionist. The second program examines the business of NASCAR, with activities like planning, budgeting and even public speaking.
