EXPLORE STEM AT THE HALL
In celebration of National Science Month, families can complete a special passport for exploration of STEM through NASCAR.
Students and family members can participate in 5 different stations to learn about STEM through hands-on activities. Each station will include an experiment and take-away activity for further discovery. Passport stations will be located in The Workshop.
Schedule for Activities
- 11:00 am - Mechanical Engineering – Explore simple and complex machine and how they function.
- 12:00 pm – Car Chemistry – Discover how combustion and energy work to propel a race car to victory.
- 1:00 pm – Forces in Motion – Investigate different forces and their impact on Racing – For Good or Bad.
- 2:00 pm – Math at 200 MPH – Uncover how math makes all the difference.
- 3:00 pm – Technology and Innovation – Learn about evolving technology and what may be next.
Kids Go Free: On these days, children 12 & under can enjoy free admission to the Hall with a paying adult. This offer must be redeemed at the box office and is not available online.
