Special events and announcements at the NASCAR Hall of Fame for the month of October are below:

EVENTS

TUESDAY, OCT. 3

Laps Around Uptown

Fans are invited to join Charlotte Motor Speedway and Brad Keselowski as he takes an inaugural few laps around Uptown Charlotte to usher in race week. Keselowski will be joined by a procession of show cars from race teams in the Charlotte area. The event will begin at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in front of the Hall of Fame and end at the Hall of Fame Plaza.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 4

NASCAR Fitness Challenge Powered by Lilly Diabetes

NASCAR teams will put the pedal to the metal during the NASCAR Fitness Challenge Powered by Lilly Diabetes, a relay-style stationary bike race. The event, which will take place on the NASCAR Hall of Fame Plaza, will tap pit crew members, drivers and employees to face off in heats led by CycleBar instructors.

Competing for a $15,000 donation to the charity of their choice, each four-person team will rotate riders, attempting to pedal farther than other teams during the heats. Get the race started by supporting participants on social media—teams get points if you like or comment on their posts tagged with the #NASCARFitChallenge hashtag—then come to the Hall to give your frontrunner a push to the finish. Champ the Cheetah, food trucks and other treats will be on hand.

THURSDAY, OCT. 5
