LET'S GO RACING! THE NASCAR HALL OF FAME ACCELERATES INTO THE 2018-19 SEASON

Family-friendly events for race fans of all ages include Race Viewing Parties, Racing Insiders Tours and Easter Egg 400.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Feb. 14, 2018) – As the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season kicks off in Daytona, programs and events at the NASCAR Hall of Fame are also revving up. Race Viewing Parties, Racing Insiders Tours and the Easter Egg 400 are just some of the high-octane happenings at the NASCAR Hall of Fame this year.

RACE VIEWING PARTIES

Select Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races will be shown on the big screen at the NASCAR Hall of Fame throughout the 2018 season. The race viewing party schedule kicks off with the Daytona 500 on Sunday, Feb. 18. The 278-seat High Octane Theater features comfortable high-back rocking seats and a 64-foot-wide, curved projection screen with surround sound. Admission to each race viewing party is $10 for the general public and free for NASCAR Hall of Fame members. Tickets include admission to the race viewing party and the use of a personal race scanner. To cap off the experience, the two large side screens in the theater will feature direct-from-track, in-car feeds of two drivers, giving fans a behind-the-wheel view of the race. Food, soft drinks, beer and wine will be available for purchase.

“It's hard to beat the experience of attending a race in person, but fans looking for the next best alternative will find it at a race viewing party at the NASCAR Hall of Fame,” said Winston Kelley, NASCAR Hall of Fame executive director. “Watching the race on the big screen, hearing the engines revving up on theater speakers and listening in on race teams through a scanner makes for a memorable race experience for those who can’t travel to every race or are just looking for a fun way to cheer on their favorite driver with other fans.”
