Featured Artifact: Cole Custer Chevrolet Silverado, 2014

Joe Custer has loaned Cole Custer's truck to the NASCAR Hall of Fame for the "HAULIN': 25 Years of NASCAR Trucks" Exhibit in the Great Hall.

Cole Custer's truck from 2014 currently sits in the Great Hall.

NASCAR veterans Kevin Harvick and Denny Hamlin may have snagged most of the victories thus far in the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season, but rising stars such as Cole Custer are also eager to make their mark. Driving for Stewart-Haas Racing, Custer picked up his first career series win on Sunday evening; his triumph came in the Quaker State 400 Presented by Walmart at Kentucky Speedway.

Custer already found great success in both the Xfinity and NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series. In fact, on September 20, 2014, he became the youngest race winner in NASCAR national series history after winning a truck race from the pole at the ripe old age of 16 years, 4 months and 22 days old. The victory came at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Here is a peek of Custer’s winning truck currently on display at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in the “Haulin’ 25 Years of NASCAR Trucks” exhibit.
